Stuck In Our Heads - Vol. 6 - September 2007
Bollocks.
Sorry about the delay. During my Labor Day weekend road trip, my iPod-brand portable media player went all radio-googoo-radio-gaga. I sent it off to Apple to get fixed, and they told me there was nothing wrong with it. Of course, my favorite part is that Apple doesn't exactly put a rush on things when they think you lied to them about something not working.
So, in spite of the fact that my iPod-brand portable media player was reportedly shipped over a week ago, I have not yet received it. As I discovered after compiling the first Stuck in Our Heads playlist back in February, it is remarkably difficult to listen to a playlist this large in any medium (readily available to me) other than a personal computer or a portable media player. In fact, that's why I bought my iPod-brand portable media player in the first place.
Since I generally need my iPod-brand portable media player to listen to my Stuck in Our Heads playlist and my iPod-brand portable media player has been out of commission, I haven't yet been able to listen to September's Stuck in Our Heads playlist. While I would hate to imply that this is all about me, the combination of being unable to listen to the playlist, in conjunction with some of the most ridiculous work-related situations I have encountered to date, I'm a work week late in posting this month's list.
The funniest part about it? I went fishing for this month's selections by claiming "I would hate to get off schedule. I know how sensitive you are to such shifts." I suppose I kind of screwed the pooch on that one.
