Stuck in Our Heads - Vol. 4 - July 2007

I feel like it was just yesterday that I was finally putting together June's (and May's) playlists. Hell, I feel like it was just yesterday when I was finally putting together July's. Things have still been stoopid crazy at work, and I haven't spent a whole lot of time doing anything but going to work, working, coming home from work, drinking myself to sleep, and waking up in cold sweats (not necessarily in that order). The nice realization I've had, in the midst of all of that, is all those activities go nicely with music. (Well, maybe not the cold sweats, but you get the idea.)

The point is that this little exercise has turned in to more than just a whimsical game I play with you once a month; for the past month, at least, it has been something of a lifeline. Okay, that's a little overly dramatic. How about a cushion?

By the way, many thanks to those of you who sent with your selections well wishes for my upcoming nuptials; however, I should clarify that my comments about the Etta James/Thompson Twins pas de deux was for my theoretical future wedding reception. Apologies for any confusion. The sentiment is touching, but please reserve it until I have found a venue and a date and a bride.

Enjoy.
